WOW, WOW, WOW!! 'Wow' will have to do because I can't think of any words strong enough to express my total and utter joy at what happened over the weekend! Yes, thanks to the support of at least 13,194 people, Knowing Me Knowing You topped the Amazon free Kindle charts as follows:-

#1 in the UK

#1 in Germany

#1 in France

And not only did I make it to #1 in the UK in contemporary romance, I was also the #1 selling free book in the whole of the Kindle store. I also made it to the heady heights of #3 in Italy!

I'm flying the Wiltshire flag with pride!

Now there will be some who think 'well the book was free it was bound to do well' but I can tell you 'selling' a free book isn't as easy as it sounds! Believe it or not, not everyone wants anything for nothing and on Amazon, readers have to be really interested in the book to even download it as a freebie. So I want to thank everyone who supported the promotion and all those lovely people who downloaded the book. The good news is I have had tweets from people who bought it and read it over the weekend and said how much they loved and enjoyed it and have downloaded my other books too!

So we're celebrating at the House of Baggot today and here is a glass of virtual bubbly for you all!
