It is a very bruised and sore Lady B that blogs for you today! Yes, on Saturday, as part of my friend Lisa's hen day (bachelorette day for my American friends) I went to Go Ape! Now, never in my life, have I had the burning desire to climb up rope ladders hundreds of metres up into the treetops, cross rope bridges straight out of Indiana Jones or descend by rapid zipwire. However, this was Lisa's day and she had had this burning desire, so who was I to say no? Plus, there was a little part of me that wanted to know if I could actually do it.

Now, it was all going really well until the final cargo net. I landed like a fly in a spider's web and then you had to climb up the cargo net to reach the next platform. Well, after writhing around and actually getting within spitting distance of said platform my arms went - I could go no further. There was only one thing for it...HELP!! Yes, Lady B had to call for assistance from one of the hot instructors and be winched over to the platform. Now, some of you will think this was a deliberate ploy to check out a real life hero as research for my next book...it wasn't but you have to take advantage of these situations!

After our hands and feet were savaged by wires and ropes we went to get manicures and pedicures (complete with massage chair!) and then the final bit of the day was a meal in a nice pizza restaurant.

Now some of you will know that I have a little crush on one of the waiters at this restaurant because he actually looks like my character Cole Ryan. Of course, I had to divulge this information to Lisa and there was a bit of a moment when our chins hit the table as he appeared to bring us our food. Let's just say if you want good food, great service and a hot looking guy to give it to you you need to visit ASK Salisbury!

So it was a weekend of hunks - to round it off Mr Big was BBQing without a shirt on yesterday! A hat-trick of heroes!
